Ship the order, keep the settlement.

Online retailers are underwritten on two things they cannot fully control: the delay between checkout and delivery, and the dispute ratio the card networks measure them against. Being paid to a wallet you control removes both from the equation.

Why this category gets penalised

The problem is the gap between paying and delivering.

Rolling reserves on a young store

A store without settlement history is priced as unknown risk. Card companies commonly answer that with a rolling reserve, so the fastest-growing months are exactly the months with the most cash withheld.

A confirmed on-chain transfer is not a card-network dispute rail, so the exposure a card company holds cash against does not exist here.

Item-not-received and friendly-fraud disputes

The goods arrive, the buyer disputes anyway, and the funds are pulled back first and argued about afterwards — with a fee attached whichever way it lands. Enough of them and the network's monitoring thresholds come into play.

The buyer sends the payment rather than having it taken, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so wallet payments produce no card-network chargebacks and no ratio to defend. For card payments, your payment provider handles card disputes with the cardholder's bank.

Paying dropship suppliers out of a lump settlement

One order can owe a fulfilment partner, a brand owner and a marketplace introducer. Reconciling that after the fact is manual work that scales with order volume.

Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, so fulfilment partners can be paid on timing you control, from your own wallet, out of money that has already settled.

Cross-border checkout friction

Overseas card payments meet issuer declines, currency conversion and cross-border interchange, and cross-border payouts add a correspondent bank and an FX spread.

Buyers can pay from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. Either way, settlement arrives in the link's settlement currency.

How it works

One payment, settled to a wallet you control.

How a payment settles through ZoynA customer pays a payment link. The payment reaches a settlement contract, which divides it in fixed proportions set when it was deployed and pays the merchant’s own wallet and the platform fee directly. Zoyn sits outside the flow of funds.CustomerHostedcheckoutSplitcontractYour walletPlatform feeZoyn (config)Funds never pass through Zoyn
1

Create the order link

Set the fixed amount and the order reference. Send it from your storefront, your order confirmation, or your own checkout flow.

2

Buyer pays their way

Card or crypto on a hosted checkout. Card availability depends on the buyer's location, currency, and available checkout providers. Card-funded payments are handled by the checkout provider — card data never reaches you.

3

Your share is fixed up front

The shares are fixed when your payments are set up: your share and the platform fee. Every order follows them exactly, and each one can be checked on a public record.

4

USDC lands in your wallet

Final after the required network confirmations, into a wallet you control — no card company batch, no next-day wait.

Your type of business

Businesses in this group can apply. You pick your exact type of business when you apply, and every application is reviewed.

Jurisdictions we cannot serve

We cannot onboard merchants operating from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. We do not hold ourselves out as licensed anywhere.

Wallet addresses you'll be paid to are checked against sanctions lists when you enter them, and re-checked every day after that.

Common questions

What e-commerce merchants ask first.

How do we handle returns without card-network chargebacks?

You refund from your own wallet once the return meets your policy. Nothing was pulled from the buyer, so Zoyn does not reverse it, and there is no card-scheme chargeback fee on wallet payments — your published returns policy decides the outcome, on your timetable rather than an issuer's. For card payments, your payment provider handles card disputes with the cardholder's bank.

Does this replace our existing card acceptance?

It does not have to. Many stores run this alongside what they already have: the payment link is a second way to be paid that settles to a wallet you control, so the orders that go through it sit outside the card networks' dispute pipeline. Which orders you route here is your decision.

Is our payout wallet checked against sanctions lists?

Yes. The wallet your payments settle to is checked against sanctions lists when you add it, and re-checked every day after that. Paying your suppliers stays outside Zoyn: Zoyn does not send money on to anyone for you.

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
