Get paid for an antique by a buyer who cannot visit the shop.
Furniture, clocks, rugs, ceramics and paintings often sell at a fair or over photographs to someone who lives far away. Send one link for the agreed price, with your stock number as the description, and ship once it is paid. Your buyer pays from their own wallet, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control.
Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.
Check yours in ten secondsA buyer who saw photographs, a border, and a fragile piece in transit.
The buyer saw it in your photographs
Many antiques sell after a fair, or after photographs and a video sent in a message thread, to someone who never comes into the shop.
Send one link for the agreed price in the same thread, with your stock number as the description. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.
The buyer is in another country
A piece of furniture, a clock or a rug can go to a buyer abroad, and a bank transfer from another country can be slow and costly.
The buyer pays from their own wallet, in the currency the link was set in. You pack and ship once it is paid.
Disputes are about condition on arrival
When a sale goes wrong it is usually over restoration that wasn't mentioned, or damage in shipping.
Describe the piece and any restoration in your terms of sale, and agree who arranges and insures shipping. Those terms decide what is owed. Zoyn has no refund button.
Antiques sales settle to a wallet only you control.
Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.
One piece, one link, then you ship.
Agree the price and the shipping
With your photographs, your description of the condition and any restoration, and who pays for packing and carriage.
Send one link for the agreed price
Your buyer pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. A large card payment can be declined.
The payment reaches your wallet
After the required network confirmations. Then you pack and ship the piece.
You take the payment. The rest of the sale stays yours.
Zoyn does not look at a piece, date it or check where it came from, and it does not find buyers for you. Your description and your paperwork go with the piece.
If you sell antiques at higher prices, especially paintings, prints or sculpture, or sell to buyers abroad, money-laundering and sanctions rules where you trade may require you to register, check who your buyer is and keep records, and a sale paid in several parts counts as one sale. Those duties are yours to meet however you are paid: being paid to your own wallet does not change them, and Zoyn does not find out who your buyers are or do these checks for you.
What an antiques dealer asks first.
Can I take a deposit to hold a piece, and the rest before it ships?
Yes, as two links: one for the deposit and one for the balance. They are two payments of one sale. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount, and nothing charges automatically.
Does Zoyn check a piece, its age or where it came from?
No. Your description, your paperwork on where a piece came from, and any export papers it needs are yours to provide. You take the payment for the amount on the link.
A piece arrived damaged and the buyer wants money back.
Your terms of sale, and the consumer law that applies to you, decide what is owed. Returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. A wallet payment is not reversed by Zoyn after the required network confirmations; a card-funded payment can still be disputed under the provider's own rules.
What does it cost me?
A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.
Will you take my antiques business?
We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.
