Approval timeline and what to expect
From application submitted to your dashboard going live.
Every application is reviewed by a person before the account goes live.
After you submit
Your application enters the review queue and you see a "Your application is in review" screen. The page checks your status automatically — you do not need to refresh, and you can close it. Nothing more is needed from you, and Zoyn emails the decision either way to the address you signed up with.
If you are approved
The same screen becomes "You're approved!". You are not taken straight to the dashboard, because approval and activation are two different things — the dashboard opens once your account is active. Three things sit on that screen:
- Your rate. The reviewer sets your per-transaction rate at approval, and it arrives as a proposal for your workspace owner to accept or decline. Accepting it is what starts your payment contract being set up, so activation waits on that answer. See Requested fee changes.
- Connect your checkout account. Where you paste your checkout account keys — you now do this after approval rather than during the onboarding steps. Skipping it does not hold up activation, but you cannot create a payment link without it.
- What's left before your account is active. A live list of anything still outstanding, saying who has to act on each item.
You land on your dashboard the moment the account goes live, and Zoyn emails you then too.
Your first 30 days
A getting-started checklist sits on the dashboard overview for your first 30 days:
- Connect your checkout account.
- Create your first payment link.
- Send the link to your buyer.
It disappears once every item is done, or when the 30 days are up.
If we need more information
The review team may reach out by email before deciding. Reply from the address you signed up with.
If you are not approved
You will see a "We couldn't approve your application" screen with the reason. You can appeal: the Appeal button opens a support ticket pre-filled with your application details, and the review team will take a second look.
