What an engineering consultancy asks first.
Can I ask for part of the fee before the site visit?
Yes. Send a first link for the visit and a second for the report. Every link is a single payment for a fixed amount, and nothing is charged automatically.
Does this work for environmental consultants?
Yes. A site assessment or a survey report is quoted, delivered and paid the same way: one link for each report or stage.
And for scientific and research consultancies?
Yes, for work delivered as a report or a stage of a project. Each invoice is its own link.
The client disputes the findings. What then?
Your terms of engagement decide what is owed. A wallet payment is not reversed by Zoyn after the required network confirmations; a card-funded payment can still be disputed under the provider's own rules. Zoyn has no refund button.
What does it cost me?
A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.
