Your return rate should not cost you a rolling reserve.
Apparel and accessory retailers live with returns as a normal part of the category, and card companies price that as dispute exposure. Once settlement is treated as final after the required network confirmations, returns go back to being an operational question — governed by your own returns policy, not by a card company's dispute window.
The problem is the gap between paying and delivering.
A reserve priced off returns you already expected
Sizing-driven returns are structural in apparel, and card companies commonly treat an elevated refund rate as elevated dispute risk — answered with a rolling reserve and delayed funding.
A settled on-chain transfer is not a card-network dispute rail, so the exposure a card company reserves against does not exist here.
"Item not as described" after the item shipped
The garment is worn, then disputed. On card rails the money is pulled back from you first and the evidence is filed afterwards, with a fee whichever way the case lands.
The buyer pushes the payment; nothing can be pulled back from your wallet. Your returns policy decides the refund, and you send it yourself.
Drops that spike your volume overnight
A collection launch is a sudden multiple of your normal daily volume, which is exactly the pattern that triggers a funding hold or a manual review on card rails.
Each payment settles on its own into a wallet you control. There is no daily volume profile being watched for deviation.
Splitting revenue with the label, maker or stockist
Wholesale, consignment and collaboration deals all mean one sale owes more than one party — usually reconciled weeks later from a lump settlement.
Each sale settles to your wallet, final, at confirmation, so the label, maker or stockist can be paid their agreed share on timing you control, from your own wallet.

The customer pays their way
Card or crypto on a hosted checkout. Card availability depends on the buyer's location, currency, and available checkout providers. Card-funded payments are handled by the checkout provider, so you never touch card data.
Your share is fixed up front
The shares are fixed when your payments are set up: your share and the platform fee. Every sale follows them exactly, and each one can be checked on a public record.
USDC lands in wallets you control
Settlement is direct and final. Zoyn is not in the path and never holds the funds.

Jurisdictions we cannot serve
We cannot onboard merchants operating from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. We do not hold ourselves out as licensed anywhere.
Wallet addresses you'll be paid to are checked against sanctions lists when you enter them, and re-checked every day after that.

What clothing & apparel merchants ask first.
How do refunds work if there is no card-network chargeback?
You send the refund from your own wallet when your returns policy says it is due — the same way you would send any other payment. Because nothing was pulled from the customer's account, Zoyn does not reverse it, and no card-scheme dispute fee applies on top of the refund itself. For card payments, your payment provider handles card disputes with the cardholder's bank.
Does a high return rate affect whether we can onboard?
It is not an underwriting variable here. Reserves on this category exist because refunds correlate with disputes, and disputes are what a card company is exposed to. A confirmed wallet payment is not a card-network dispute rail — though provider dispute rules can still apply to any card-funded portion of a payment, so on that leg your refund rate stops being a risk input and goes back to being a merchandising metric.
Do you hold funds between the sale and our payout?
No. There is no payout step to hold anything in. Payments pass automatically from the buyer to a wallet you control, and Zoyn never takes custody of settled funds.
