Payments for managed IT service providers

Bill the onboarding project and the monthly invoice, one link at a time.

Managed IT providers and IT outsourcing firms start a client with an onboarding or migration project, then invoice for support every month. Send the project fee as one payment link. Each invoice is its own link, and there is no automatic monthly charge. Clients pay from their own wallet, including clients abroad, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.

Why this is harder than it looks

A large project up front, then an invoice every month.

The onboarding project comes first

Moving a client's systems across takes weeks of work and often new hardware, before the first monthly invoice.

Send the project fee, and any hardware at the price you agreed, as one link each, with the statement of work number as the description.

Every monthly invoice needs chasing

The invoice goes out, and payment depends on someone at the client remembering to send it.

Send each invoice as its own link for the exact amount, and the client pays it once. Nothing is taken automatically.

Clients in other countries

A client abroad pays by international transfer, and fees come off the amount before it reaches you.

Send the link. They pay from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

Project fees and invoices settle to a wallet only you control.

Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.

How it works

One invoice, one link.

1

Agree the statement of work

The onboarding fee, any hardware and the monthly support price, in writing.

2

Send one link per invoice

The project fee first, then one link for each monthly invoice. The client pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

3

The payment reaches your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a managed IT provider asks first.

Will the monthly invoice be taken automatically?

No. Each invoice is its own link, sent by you, and the client pays it once. There is no automatic monthly charge.

We bill per user. Does that work?

Yes. Work out the month's total the way you do today, and send one link for that amount.

Can hardware go on the same invoice?

Yes. Put it on the invoice, and the link carries the total. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

What does it cost me?

A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.

Will you take my managed IT business?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
